In addition to prior careers as a CPA and an attorney, Jane has over a decade of legal recruiting experience. In the legal search domain, Jane built a successful career spanning ten years as one of the top recruiters with one of the largest legal-only search firms in the country. She has successfully completed national searches resulting in attorney placement for companies ranging from executive-level general counsels to staff attorneys. She has also worked with international, regional, and local law firms to help them find top partner and associate talent. Jane currently serves as Managing Principal of Momentum Legal Search Firm and continues to recruit legal recruiting for companies and law firms throughout Texas, as well as in other states. In her twelfth year as an one of the most respected legal attorney recruiters, she has an established expertise in helping build top in-house legal departments across many industries, including energy and renewable energy, healthcare, biotech, finance, manufacturing, retail, and technology.

Jane obtained her J.D. with honors from the University of Texas, where she was Order of the Coif and an associate editor of the Texas Law Review. After law school, she practiced litigation with the Austin office of an international Texas-based firm. Jane obtained her undergraduate degree with high honors in Accounting from the University of Arkansas.

Jane lives in Austin with her husband and son. She has been a speaker on legal hiring/attorney placement and career development, and she has served on various boards of directors in the Austin community. She currently spends her free time cycling, gardening and catering to the interests of her teenage son.

Courtney Sapire founded Sapire Search Group, Inc. in 2007, which merged to form Momentum Legal Search Firm in 2010. She is also a founder, officer and board member of RFx Legal LLC, a legal recruiting services and technology company.

With a decade of executive and legal recruiting experience, Courtney has managed senior-level searches in a variety of functional areas including executive management, marketing, sales, engineering and technical operations. In the legal search domain, Courtney built a successful career as one of the top in-house legal recruiters in Texas. In addition, she launched a national energy practice as an attorney placement search consultant with a large Texas-based search firm. Courtney has successfully completed national attorney searches for companies across the country from the general counsel to staff attorney level, as well as lateral partner and group acquisitions for large law firms in Texas.

Courtney Sapire received her B.B.A. in finance in 1989 from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was on the Dean's List of Academic Excellence. In 1992, she received her J.D. from the Southern Methodist University School of Law and was published in the SMU Law Review. As an attorney in private practice, Courtney specialized in corporate and energy transactions. She later held positions as the Director of Human Resources and Recruiting for two technology companies.

Courtney serves as a member of Board of Directors of The National Association of Legal Search Consultants (NALSC), an organization that represents the legal search profession and is committed to promoting ethical standards among its members. Courtney also maintains a Senior Human Resources Professional Certification, and is a member of the Energy Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Society for Human Resource Management, the Women's Energy Network of Houston, and the National Association of Women Lawyers. Courtney lives in Austin, Texas, and is the mother of three children.

Tori Keith has been in the legal field for 20 years in various capacities - legal recruiter, private practice attorney, and government attorney.

Before joining Momentum Legal Search Firm in 2010, Tori worked for several years with another national legal search firm and was the recruiting and hiring manager for a large, regional private law firm. She handled new associate and lateral attorney hiring placement as well as all levels of legal staffing and human resources management. Before becoming a legal recruiter, Tori began her legal career with the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., handling administrative and product liability tort claims before moving into private practice in Texas handing toxic tort, environmental and employment law matters for a large national law firm. Tori managed outside counsel in multiple jurisdictions and regularly contributed articles on case law updates, legislation and case developments. She launched the firm's first Pro Bono and Public Service committee and recruited attorneys honed her legal recruiting skills to find attorneys to participate in pro bono programs. Tori is admitted to practice in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. She is a member of numerous professional associations, including the Environmental, Natural Resources and Water Law Section of the Austin Bar Association, the Clean Energy Council of the Austin Chamber of Commerce and the local chapter of Women of Wind Energy.

In 2004, Tori founded Divine Canines, a non-profit organization dedicated to the use of dogs as a therapy tool. She serves as Board President, handles all legal work for the 501(c)(3) group, leads fundraising efforts, serves as spokesperson for media and press and develops programs such as the use of dogs to promote literacy in Title 1 schools, hospitals and homes for abused children awaiting placement in foster care.

Tori graduated from the University of Mississippi with BBA in Business in 1987 and from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1989.

Amber Shockey is a Principal of Momentum Legal Search Firm. Amber's legal recruiting experience includes six years as one of the top producers at one of the nation's largest legal recruiting boutique firms where she also served as a member of the National Energy Team-handling searches inside and outside of Texas for energy companies. Amber focuses on legal recruiting for in-house attorneys for corporate clients, specifically in the energy industry. In this space, she has successfully completed searches resulting in attorney placement at all levels from executive level to counsel roles nationwide. She has developed a niche and reputation for being astute on particularized needs within the energy industry.

Before she was a one of the top legal recruiters, Amber practiced law for 5 years with the national firms of Jenkens & Gilchrist and Thompson & Knight. After starting her practice as a litigator, Amber's practice became a dedicated energy practice, including both energy transactional work (M&A and other transactional agreements) and litigating large-scale disputes involving oil and gas issues. During her time at Jenkens & Gilchrist, Amber served on the firm's recruiting committee.

Amber received her BA, Finance with a minor in economics from the University of Oklahoma in 1998 and her JD, cum laude, from The Dedman School of Law, Southern Methodist University in 2001. While at SMU, Amber served on the International Law Review and was a finalist in the Jackson Walker 1st Year Moot Court Competition.

Amber lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband, two little girls, and the family English Pointer, Remington. She remains actively involved in her community as the founding board member for the Women Energy Network's first national chapter, where she served two terms as WEN-North Texas's Membership Director and continues to serve on the board for Lakewood Early Childhood Parent Teacher Association. She has also served a term on the Texas General Counsel Forum board of directors. She is also a current member of the Women's Auxiliary and is a former member of the Junior League of Dallas.

Jennifer Nelson, a native Texan, is a third generation graduate from The University of Texas, Austin. During her early years she worked in the advertising field, specializing in radio and print in Houston and Austin. Jennifer was recruited by a fortune 100 company to open their Austin office and develop a business base, serving law firms and large corporate clients with innovative facilities management solutions. She performed in-house complex business analyses of customer's capital costs, personnel and internal communication requirements in order to develop a smarter and more cost effective way to manage their operations. Law firms and corporations across Texas partnered with Jennifer due to her customer driven focus, professionalism and tailored solutions in helping them manage their personnel and business needs. Jennifer is proud to be a part of the Momentum legal recruiting team and is currently responsible for permanent and temporary paralegal, legal secretary and administrative personnel placements, as well as temporary attorneys placement.

Jennifer lives in Austin with her husband and two teenage sons. She values her time with her family and friends, and spends many hours cheering on her sons in their sports endeavors and appreciating the joys of living in Austin.

Nikki Crosby is an Attorney Search Director at Momentum Legal, who focuses on firm and in house search. She received her BBA in Marketing in 1995 from Texas A&M University, where she was on the Dean's List and graduated cum laude. In 2001, she received her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. In law school, Nikki was President of the International Law Review Association and a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Fraternity. As an attorney in private practice in Dallas at Jenkens & Gilchrist and then at Fulbright & Jaworski, Nikki's practice covered all aspects of complex commercial litigation. She specialized in defending major brokerage firms, correspondent firms, officers and directors, and registered representatives in securities-related matters. At both law firms, Nikki was active in recruiting, including holding positions on the recruiting committees at various times. Nikki is also a member of the State Bar of Texas, Dallas Bar Association, American Bar Association, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, and the Patrick E. Higginbotham Inn of Court (2005), and has been a "Texas Rising Star", published in Texas Monthly (2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011).

Nikki lives in Dallas with her husband, an elite cyclist, daughter, and two Italian greyhounds, Evie and Dandy. She spends her free time with her family, running, and practicing yoga.

Micah comes to us with a depth of experience from public relations, practicing law, and legal recruiting. After beginning his career with a large New York-based public relations firm in Houston, Micah Hurt became an attorney in 2001. He practiced as a commercial litigator in both Dallas and Houston until 2008. Most recently, Micah recruited for a large, nationwide executive recruiting firm where he focused on both law firm and Fortune 500 company-clients. He has experience working with Associates, Partners and in-house attorneys at all levels.

As a native Houstonian, Micah has emphasized the energy industry on many of his searches. In that regard, he has worked with major energy and energy services companieson in-house legal searches ranging from General Counsel to staff attorneys. In fact, the energy industry has been part of his life for as long as he can remember, as his father was an attorney with ExxonMobil for over 30 years. Additionally, Micah's wife works for another major international energy company. So, the energy field is completely intertwined with his life experience -- both past and present. Because of these personal ties, Micah especially enjoys working with energy companies to add legal talent in an ever-changing global marketplace.

Micah obtained his J.D. from Southern Methodist University in 2001, where he served as Articles Editor on the Computer Law Review & Technology Journal. Prior to law school, Micah earned his Bachelor's degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin.

Micah lives in Houston with his wife and three daughters. He enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his girls and his boxer, Rex.
