in-houseIn-House legal jobs continue to grow.  One of the biggest trends we're seeing are for Privacy & Data Security attorneys.  While not a new focus, data security is a high priority for legal departments.  With the new EU’s GDPR, corporations are raising their compliance bar.

Compliance roles also continue to grow.  These attorneys serve as the primary point person for a company's ethics and compliance program, ensuring that the company exercises due diligence and sound internal controls to                                                                                              operate with integrity and protect against legal risk.

Compliance Attorney (Houston)

Highly-regarded international company in the energy industry is seeking a talented compliance attorney.   3+ years of compliance-related experience involving one or more of the following: FCPA or other similar corruption laws, anti-bribery statutes, various types of internal and/or government investigations, development of corporate compliance policies/best practices, etc. This company itself offers a fantastic work environment and is a dynamic place to build a career. IP Licensing/ Transactional Attorney (Austin)

A critical member of the Intellectual Property Law team, we are looking for a lawyer with a minimum of 4 years of technology licensing experience.  This new hire should have experience working with various engineering and business organizations in the negotiation, drafting and approval of technology-related transactions, including in particular technology in-licenses and out-licenses, and technology development agreements. Reporting to the Senior Director responsible for technology transactions, this position requires an individual with strong negotiation, contract drafting, legal, analytical, oral communication, and writing skills related to technology licensing, and familiarity with the semiconductor manufacturing industry.  Contact

 Data Privacy & Compliance Attorney (Austin)

7+ years’ progressive experience in compliance, data privacy, risk management and/or auditing.  And, 2+ years’ managerial and/or leadership experience.  Expert knowledge of federal privacy and data protection laws and general familiarity with state data breach notification laws.  Proficient knowledge of the privacy aspects of the information life cycle, data handling and asset classification, and knowledge of the role of a privacy professional in ensuring that customer data is properly managed.  Contact
