Momentum was founded in early 2011 by Jane Pollard, a veteran Austin legal recruiter who began recruiting in 2000 after practicing law with a large law firm for several years, and Jennifer Nelson, who had a track record of sales and management success in a related legal industry. Within a short time, they assembled the current team of recruiters at Momentum, each of whom also had many years of success in the legal recruiting industry and had either been respected competitors or former colleagues. Former competitors have been a cohesive team at Momentum, working towards the common goal of helping employers hire top legal talent in Texas and aiding legal professionals in the advancement of their careers.
