As Momentum’s Accounting Manager, Tabitha focuses on everything financial for Momentum. She works closely with Search Directors and Recruiters to keep track of placements and provides billing and payroll support, along with daily bookkeeping tasks. She brings with her a thorough background in small business accounting, with over 15 years in full-cycle bookkeeping.
After graduating with a degree in Accounting from Southwest University, she began her career at a regional firm focusing on audits and tax. Her strong passion for small business led her to an Austin firm specializing in the in the restaurant and hospitality industry, where she thrived in guiding clients through the ins and outs of budgeting, cash flow and cost control. A natural entrepreneur, she joined forces with a colleague to start their own bookkeeping practice in 2017. She and her colleague have expanded their firm to include a broad range of industries, serving a steadily growing list of clients in Texas.
Tabitha has worn many hats over the years, from growing up on an organic farm where she learned the ins and outs of running a business, to managing a coffee house in Austin for several years. She is always working on a long list of DIY projects at home and is an avid lover of the outdoors and coffee. When not counting numbers, you can find her tending her organic garden, running, hiking and drinking copious amounts of coffee.
