The firm will consider attorneys with 1-10 years of experience for this partnership track position and compensates very competitively.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Assist in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and trial preparation.
- Manage and organize case documents, evidence, and exhibits.
- Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial testimony.
- Attend court proceedings and hearings, and assist in courtroom presentations.
- Participate in negotiations, settlements, and alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Maintain communication with clients, providing updates and addressing their concerns.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends in commercial litigation.
- Contribute to the growth and success of the firm through dedication and commitment to trial advocacy.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Texas.
- 1-10 years of litigation experience, with a strong interest in commercial litigation.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent writing and communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of experienced attorneys.
